Our Presenter–
Steve Schenkel is a top musician, educator, and clinician in the St. Louis area. He is a guitarist at the Fox Theater and the St. Louis Municipal Opera and from time to time plays with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and the Repertory Theater of St. Louis and has back numerous national artists. Steve also contracts the orchestra at the Fox Theater as well as many other venues in the area. He currently serves as Music Director at First Unity Church of St. Louis.
Steve retired from Webster University after 37 years of teaching. At Webster, he founded the Jazz Studies Program, the Music Technology Program, and the Webster Jazz Concert Series.
